Job description

Are you hospitable, hands-on and a real spider in the web? Then working as a receptionist at our Glamping is just for you! As the receptionist you are the first face many people will encounter. You are in charge to arrange the check-in and check-out from A to Z.

After following the briefing evening and reading through the manuals, you will be ready to handle it all. Once your shift for the day is done, you can go to the track and enjoy the spirit of the circuit. You will also stay at the event site in your tent. Food and drinks are available on-site.

During the entire travel period the Product Manager and Coordinators of the event, will be leading and are in charge of any executive decisions. You will be working under the head of hospitality and will be in touch with the Project lead and Operational Product Manager. Might you have any questions or problems that cannot be solved on your own, you can reach out to the responsible Operational Product Manager, Head of event or Coordinator on site. 

We are currently looking for receptionists for:

  • Formula 1 Spa-Francorchamps (24th of July until the 29th of July)
  • MotoGP Assen (26th of June until the 1st of July)

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests
  • Arranging payments
  • Taking care of special requests
  • Collecting amazing reviews
  • Helping guests in case of questions
  • Handing out wristbands, locks and car-stickers
  • Selling drinks and snacks
  • Accompany and show the guest the site
  • Having full responsibility of giving customers the Global-Tickets experience and any other travel related task that might be applicable to the event that you attend
  • Writing an evaluation once you are back home
  • Handling and dealing with complaints on site
  • Being reachable by phone for questions from guests and colleagues with possible phone duty during the weekend

Job requirements

  • You must be a resident of the Netherlands, where the Dutch passport is not needed, however, a Dutch BSN number is obligatory
  • You're employed in the Netherlands, next to being a travel guide
  • You're the warm, adaptable, and detail-oriented individual we're seeking
  • With a proactive and patient approach to guest interactions, coupled with strong communication skills and teamwork, you'll ensure a seamless and memorable experience for our event attendees

What will you get from us?

  • A training arranged by Global-Tickets at a location in the Netherlands, that you are obliged to attend. Costs of public transport to the destination are covered. This training, where you will learn all the needed skills and get to know all the information needed, will be given by us
  • Transportation through flight, bus, public transport, or kilometre allowance to the event
  • A tent including all food & beverages on site, possibly shared with another guide (of the same gender)
  • A ticket in minimally the cheapest category to the event you are attending
  • A gross salary aligns with the Dutch average wage rates
