As our Event Manager (m/f/d) specialising in Glamping, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement exciting projects with us. Your role will be pivotal in securing partnerships and maximising commercial outcomes for our Global-Tickets Villages and Campings. Through adept negotiation and strategic alliances, you'll ensure seamless event execution, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Your areas of responsibility

  • Play a crucial role in establishing Global-Ticket Villages and Campings at various locations with our team (e.g., Senior Product Manager, Logistics, Branding)

  • Negotiate and contract with property owners and/or suppliers for grounds, sanitary facilities, food and beverage, waste management and more

  • Conduct stock and yield management during the sales period and ensure flawless product display on our website during the off-season

  • Coordinate the setup and break-down of event areas on-site

  • Ensure seasonal growth of sales revenue through group sales and affiliate partnerships

  • Develop and implement new business opportunities for future projects

  • Represent Global-Tickets on-site to ensure a wonderful customer experience

Job requirements

  • You have at least 1 year experience in the commercial sector, ideally in the field of events or campings

  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in tourism, event management, business or similar areas is a plus

  • You have already planned and coordinated at least one large scope project from start to finish

  • Shifting gears between commercial and organisational tasks comes to you naturally

  • Possess an outgoing, analytical, negotiation, and sales-oriented personality

  • Enjoy the dynamic environment of event locations in summer and office work in Groningen

  • Travelling from time to time is something you are looking for

  • You have strong organisational skills and act with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German, Dutch, or any other additional languages is a significant advantage
