As our Finance Intern, you’ll step directly into the engine room of a growing company. You operate from Groningen, while staying closely connected with the German office to handle real-life cases from day one, validate financial data together with our Finance team, and process invoices.

Your Impact

  • Invoice management: Support the booking and monitoring of invoices in our administration to support timely and complete financial reporting.

  • Mailbox coordination: Manage the dedicated finance mailbox and handle incoming financial and administrative communications with clarity.

  • Administrative support: Support our experienced finance team in maintaining a high-quality financial administration that is complete, consistent, and well-organized.

  • Document organization: Maintain structured digital and physical archives of financial records to ensure accessibility, compliance, and audit readiness.

  • Closing preparation: Assist in preparing data for monthly and period-end closings to help ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

  • Team collaboration: Coordinate with your mentor and our logistics partner to collect documentation, clarify invoice details, and resolve open items.

Job requirements

  • Fluency in German and English is essential.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a natural ability to spot patterns, identify issues, and propose improvements.

  • You are proactive, reliable, and motivated to continuously improve both yourself and the processes around you.

  • A strong communicator who brings proactivity to team collaboration.

  • Feedback is something you welcome — growth matters, and you're eager to learn from experienced finance professionals.

  • Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets or Excel, and quick to adapt to new systems and technologies.
